You don’t need to try to be strong.

What you need to do is to accept yourself entirely.

➁ Not everything is under your responsibility

When the people of HSP feel the sense of guilt, they tend to think that everything is under their responsibility.

Even if they cannot do anything for it, they might think that they are wrong when the other gets hurt in his/her heart.

However, that is an excessive sense of sin.

In most cases, a single person doesn’t owe its responsibility by 0% or 100%, but anybody shares the responsibility based on several causes.

Even in this case, the people of HSP tend to consider that their responsibility has a larger ratio, but they can realize that not everything is under their responsibility.

➂ Lower the high standard

The people of HSP have been often restricted by the others and the rules that they created.

“Should be liked by everybody”, “Respect for others’ feeling”, “Don’t show my weakness”, perhaps these have been engraved unconsciously in their mind.

Obeying the rules, they might try to conceal their fear and anxiety, but in most cases, such rule is a burden on their heart because the standard is very high.

You don’t need to follow any rules.

Even though you don’t work too hard, you can be loved.

➃ Disconnect yourself from information

The people of HSP tend to receive more information than other people from what they see and feel.

In this stimulating world, it is very important to take measures in advance before you feel exhausted.

First, let’s close your eyes.

Because the sense of sight receives quite a lot of information, you can stop inflow of information by closing your eyes.

Next is “sound”.
You should avoid being in crowded restaurants and shops and places with lots of noise.
If it’s impossible, you can disconnect from outer information by earplug and headphone.

While it is fine to listen to music from that headphone, you should remember that the music itself is also stimulating and you feel some tiredness.

When you get to know something tragic, you may feel exhausted for some days because of your strong empathy.

They might not recognize how extent they are strained by the information perceived by the five senses.

➄ Make time to do nothing

When you’ve already strained by information or when you will be exposed on excessive stimulation, you should be better to make your time to do nothing and consider nothing.

Making your heart and mind empty, you can organize various information and thoughts well.

➅ Love yourself

Many of those who don’t realize that they are HSP sometimes disparage themselves because they regard themselves as being weak person, being not socialized and being defective.

Even if they realize themselves as HSP, it is so hard to change their mind and how to think, which they have had for a long time.

If your family or friends are troubled, please try to imagine what words you would tell them.

You won’t tell any negative words to them, will you?

Please tell words, which are said to them, also to you. Writing a letter to yourself is also good.

➆ Enjoy a “gift” of high sensitivity

For example, making your five senses active and relaxed by sunlight, sound of raindrop, and flavor of mountain and forest, expressing your plentiful imagination by wring poem and diary and drawing, listening to your favorite music, and dancing with some videos.
